Hi guys! I wonder if any of you are watching NBC's Heroes show. It's a great show, especially for fans of comic books and superhero movies. No one's in costume yet, but they excel in showing the human side of super powers.

Plus, they have all these nifty tie-ins and storylines. :D

I find it a little dragging, unfortunately. I got up to episode seven before quitting, might start watching it again when I get the time - because the girls are hot.

Personally, I feel this is one of the most engaging which leaves you with a "WTF!" shows out there. Every episode leaves you wanting for another because the WTF ending grabs you.

Some of the characters have started to jade - but I love so many of them. My worry is that they're giving so many characters superhero type powers that my favorites don't get enough story time.

I thought I'd hate Hiro - but he's my favorite character - super cool powers and funny. DL Hawkins has cool powers too, but really don't care for Nikki/Jessica. And of course Isaac the painter.

It's like watching a comic book unfold - and that's great.

I'm up to date with the latest episode, and I find it pretty thrilling and exciting, especially since the episodes almost always end with a friggin' cliffhanger. What's even more fun about the show is that even though each character seems to be miles apart from each other in terms of distance AND story/plot, they always somehow find themselves connected in the overall story. Good times.

My only problem is with that cheerleader, who's just a little bit too whiny for my tastes. But, the psycho mom is hawt.

Ali Larter (Niki) appeared in movies before. You ought to check her out in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Final Destination.

Anyone here checked out the comics? They're a bit on the short side, but they show some interesting side stories. :) (Not advisable for those who haven't seen past episode 8 though)

Episode 19 of Heroes is finally shown in the US! :D

More twists and turns... Micah is finally brought into the main plot. Fight between Sylar and Peter was a bit anticlimatic, but it moved the plot along. And the last scene was another damn cliffhanger!

Ah, well, there's a new episode next week: Five Years Later. Can't wait.

There's gonna be a second volume! Yatta!

And they decided to keep the remaining characteres intact! yay! I wuv Hiro!
elfboy
I hate the ending of Volume 1. I need closure damnit!

That being said, Hiro is my favorite character as well.

I love how Hiro said, "Dai Pinchu" and it gets translated as "%@&*(#@!" (like it's a bad word - when we know it's not. Farnee).

I laughed out loud at that joke.

The graphic novels are still being released at NBC.com. The newest one focuses on the Haitian, the mysterious black dude with the few words.

I'm still halfway through the graphic novels. XD
