I've been doing a LOT of research, and I've compiled quite a list of some hentai that I'm interested in seeing. The first one I ever saw was Urotsukidoji, and I just LOVE horror films, exploitation films, hell, any kind of extreme cinema. I didn't expect to like it (I downloaded it because I was curious what all the hype is about), but I was pleasantly surprised when I watched it to find it had things other than demon tentacle sex. :tongue: Anyway, I saw the first two episodes of Bible Black the other day, and I didn't like it...one bit. Maybe horror hentai is a hit or miss. The horror aspect of it just felt so...forced, whereas Urotsukidoji didn't. But back to the topic at hand, I was wondering which of these I should pick up first? In a couple of weeks (when I open my checking account and get a debit card) I'm going to order a DVD or two, and I don't really want to blind buy one. I realize that there's plenty of reviews, but that's one person's opinion. *sigh* This post is turning out longer than expected. ANYWAY, here's what I'm looking into:

It's quite a big list, but I'm trying to get everyone's opinions on these titles. Anyway, if you think I'm missing something that is essential, add it. The whole list of hentai I've been looking into is right here.

From the larger list you linked, here are the titles I personally like (roughly in order of preference):

Mezzo Forte Director's Cut (probably my favorite hentai. decent plot, explicit scenes, somewhat violent)
Darling (very good comedy/romance/hentai)
Kite Uncut (same creator as Mezzo Forte. much more violent)
Oni-Tensei (very dark story. one of the better hentai plots I have seen.)
New Angel (mainly nostalgia. this was the first hentai I ever saw. decent comedy series)
Magical Twilight (another nostalgia hentai-comedy title)

Honorable mentions: Mystery of the Necronomicon, Koihime, Blood Shadow, La Blue Girl, Words Worth, Dragon Rider.

I have not seen Moonlight Lady or Demon Warrior Koji, but I hear both are pretty good.

From your first paragraph, I suspect you'd like the following (some of the "extreme" titles on the list):

I really hate the following titles, but you might like them:

Alien From the Darkness (IIRC, 2nd-rate sci-fi horror hentai)
Behind Closed Doors (1st episode is good, quickly goes downhill. lots of Domination and the like)
Girl Next Door (don't remember why I hated it. I think it was poor animation)
Midnight Panther (I really didn't like the animated version. The comic is better I think)
Shusaku (I haven't seen much of this, but the plot was really stupid - even by hentai standards)

I tend to go the the lighter, funnier series, but I like a well written dark stroy too. You'll probably get significantly different opinions from each poster on this thread. Good luck with your search. :cool:

I went to the mall today and all of Suncoast's DVD were like 40% off because they're closing. They had a couple of these titles (I was really eyeing Demon Warrior Koji and Spaceship Agga Ruter), but I went with my mom, sister and little brother, so I didn't want to buy any at that time. :sweatface: Anyways, I don't have that much money at the moment.

Spaceship Agga Ruter is a comdey style type of H its a good pick and also Masquerade...

La Blue Girl, it's a classic. :cool:

One of the Bible Black Gaiden episodes had demon tentacle-y stuff in it, so you might give that a second chance.

well off the small list I think beast city is a good choice it has some horror elements but it is mostley funny I couldent stop lafing.I found it more comical then most comedy anime :laugh:

and from your big list the onley one I have seen is punishment and I found it good not great but good. it has some good bondage/rape scens (and the animation was fairley good for a H-flick)but it was still a little bland for my taste

I also just orderd f-force and blood shadow so I will give my 2 cents on these whin I get them


p.s. hear is a realy good review site for anime/hentai/and H-games ***animetric*** this site was like my bible when I first started getting into anime


p.p.s. a good hentai you should check out is night shift nurses it has some scat scens and lots of torture/bondage/rape its defentley xtreme hentai at its best :devil:

Luv Wave (Suspenceful)
Ail Maniax (Some of the sickest stuff you'll see, and they don't even have sh*t eating)
Family of Debauchery (Try to find a way to get the true first episode. Never been released in the US)
Kuro Ai ("Action" in this one. Hooo Wee) "Dark Love" in the US (I'm satisfied with this westernized Title)
Inma Seiden (Horror + Tentacles + Non-hant to hand Fighting)

Man, I can't believe I left out "Ho Ta Ru Ko" known in the US as "Crimson Climax" (thank God the Porn title aspect is subtle, too bad it's still there). This one is creepy and violent, and I ain't talking bout the sex.
