Bakuryu who is one of my best friends and is a member of this board recently had part of his house burn down. It was the Garage part of his house and luckily no one was hurt and he's doing ok considering but this goes to show that you can never know when something like this will occur.

He is with some of his neighbors and the whole event was just devestating. The damage was pretty bad.

Well that sucks. My neighbor had a similar event happen to their house when I was younger. Turns out one of the children "accidentally knocked over" some gasoline. We all suspected that he was playing with fire though.

Man that's really bad. We kinda have a saying that 'it's better to be robbed 10 times than get your house burned down'. Fortunately, it's not the whole house that's been burned down. I hope Bakuryu will overcome this obstacle.

The only thing one can do right now is to look on ahead, rebuild and be grateful that it didn't go much worse than it has...You can always "build" another garage, but you can only "live" once...My prayers are with Bakuryu... :)

Thank you all for your support, all of my family including pets (except the fish there alive but we havent moved them :buck: ) got out alive. I want to thank ssjmkm for making this topic and also posting in the prayer thread. Things happen really fast and you can't keep up sometimes.

And for the record i didnt have anthing to do with the fire. mainly do to the fact that you are one time zone ahead of me. and also that i would nevver attack one of my own kind(scientists have wet to figure out what kind that is). :yinyang: good luck to you

An update on my situation, currently settled in my rental house its a nice place and neighborhood, replace my video game systems only to find that the other cleaning company had them :P and sadly the fish were a total lose =(

I don't know you, but I feel for you man! I went through the same thing when I was a kid when our entire house burned down.

It was traumatizing for a 5 year old to lose his home.
