dont you think we need a re elect the moderators on each boards...

It might be useful if normal members could delete their own posts (not anyone elses) in case we accidentally post a message twice, or want to remove a comment that is hurtful. That way we don't have to wait for a moderator to come round to the topic and do it for us.

I agree; pretty much everyone here is friendly and reasonably responsible; if everyone could delete their own posts it might save a lot of trouble for mod, admin, and everyone else in general.

That's a great idea. So all those who accidentally post doubles or something they decide shouldn't stay, they can just delete it instead of editing it and leaving a blank message there.

I actually wondered about the 3 nested quotes thing though. I think it's still in effect. The rules state (clearly too. It's right there in rule 1, subsection A) that it still applies. But I think sometimes we forget about it :) (too anxious to quoth the raven, nevermore) :D

I'm trying to minimize useless posts so I really have to put that forum rules thingy up on every forum here until iB upgrades and let us write our own terms of service before registration.

I wanna know why canibus is illegal on this boards??? I mean u never hear about a pothead who gets into a car accident or rape sum1... we usually just stay in our houses, chill, eat funnyuns, etc... and its not illegal in the whole world u know.... if u go to Amsterdam they even have "coffee shops"... and if u have glacoma??? and it also used to be legal i dunno why they changed but no one got hurt all u have are a bunch of hippies...

Who we ban or do not ban depends on the RULES.

While that is true at times, he's still been a pain in the ass. I stand by the decisions of the mods and admins primarily because I want to stay on this board.

Basically, Mnelmoth was just causing headaches for everyone (and migraines for the mods and admins). Essentially, the "open letter of protest" was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Yes, he did. In his "letter of salvation", which got locked, he was in Group: BANNED.

To avoid controversy, I have decided to stop at that.

Read the rules, Integra. It helps not to get banned.

As for Mnemolth, I think the guy deserves a rest. Perhaps he can come back some other time when his head is a little bit clearer. Ditto for the other people involved.
