I'm sad to say that I have some very infuriateing news.

The long awaited sequle to the Bible Black series, Bible Black New Testament, comes sans a Japanese audio track. So the english dub track is your only choice.

For the life of me i cannot understand why Kitty would do this alienateing a massive number of it's fans, the english track is decent i'll give it that but I know that most of us prefer our hentai in the original language it was recorded.


So therefor I urge all fans of the Bible Black series, and fans of subbed Hentai in general to write Kitty Media in protest of this english only release.

I heard that they did this to deter Japanese from importing it back to Japan so they can see it uncensored. This may be a new trend in hentai. Man, I hope it isn't. :sad:

Because more than likely, a mob out for blood would happily find lots of it in a Bible Black sequel...dubbed or no dubbed. :laugh:

I enjoyed Bible Black, but I can't say that it is one of my favorite hentai series. Plus, I may be one of the few people on these boards who doesn't get her panties all in a bunch over English dubbed hentai - they don't bother me that much. So no sleep lost here!

Ok it seems i need to make something clear, i don't mind a Dub, but what bothers me is that i no longer have a choice in the matter. This may not only happen to this series but others. Damnit we fans have a right to choice. No government is gonna tell what i can and can't watch with my body!

Well it seems like i've gotten the final word on things concerning The new Bible Black series.

It seems Media Blasters president, {Kitty Medias non adult parent company} has absolutely no plans whatsoever to offer a Japanese dubbed version for the american market to keep Japanese natives from purchaseing the american copies which are cheaper and uncencored due to pressure from the Japanese producer.

So thank to Media Blasters and their simpering wuss president all american fans of the series are screwed and have been alienated buy a company that our hard earned money keeps in business.


I really have to say that i have been becomeing more and more dissapointed with Kitty Media lately. What with all of these new extremely short titles comeing out, deception in run times, not haveing updated their website in what looks like over a year, and this whole Bible Black business.

I used to hold Kitty Media in high regard as the best Hentai distribution company in the states since most of my favorite titles came from them.

That is not a fair comment. Bible Black is popular in Japan and the Japanese producers were concerned about reverse importation. They stipulated that there could be no Japanese audio and so Kitty would not have been able to do a damn thing about it. All that would have happened if Kitty had stuck to their guns about keeping the Japanese audio track is that they would have lost the license and BB would have been picked up by someone else, still without Japanese audio.

Remember that R1 releases are only seen as an added cash bonus for the Japanese producers, American licensees have very little power to demand anything at all (unless they are co-producing).

Your opinion and outlook on this situation is very very wrong and you should be thrashed thusly. :angryfire:

Japan needs to be aware that the american market is an expanding market more and more every day. And that by pulling tricks like these consumers will become unstrustful of imports from japan. I know many Bible Black fans who are outraged by this so much so that they've gone to the point of not buying the american release at all and instead downloading it off the net from some disreputable site with japanese audio and chinese subs. And none of them speak or can read chinese.

Thats how far some fans are willing to go, and they must be noticeing that this blatant slap in the face is really hurting the sales of the american release.

Why do the characters all have the same bust size, and look the same in the face? The only way you could possible distinguish one female from another is by their hair. Besides the story, I don't find any part of the series compelling. ESPECIALLY not the art.

Sorry, just not my favorite.

What is your malfunction dysfunction, This thread is not about expression opinions about Bible black or whether or not you like it but about our rights being stripped away. Whether it's one of your favorites or not.

Seems that Kittymedia listens to feedback from the fans after all: the first 2 episodes from the second BB series will get a japanese audio track finally :biggrin:

The BB New Testament vol. 2 -DVD (released june 13) will include the first 2 episodes as an extra feature. So we'll get 2 hours of BB for the price of 1. I'm so glad that I decided not to get the dub only -version.
