I was browsing through my older works and I'm rather surprised to see how a lot of things have changed. :) These are the newest ones I've worked on. ^^

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/22350386/ <--- this one is more of a rough sketch of an RPG character I created.

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/22349878/ <--- Desire of the Endless. Done in color pencils and in shades of red.

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/22146188/ <--- Hyde with an anime twist. I did this in blue watercolors. :)

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/21790846/ <--- a mixed media nude. :P

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/21646684/ <--- Dream of the Endless. Also in watercolors. :)

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/20189994/ <--- A religious pencil sketch. Jim Caviezel as Jesus Christ. :D

Comments and criticism always welcome here. :D

Brilliant.

I can't think of anything else to say. I'm blown away.
Kamisama
My...You're great! I envy the way you do some of them with watercolors.

Thank you. But those are rather mediocre compared to what the other OB artists do.

 Hahaha! Actually, I was pretty intimidated at first with watercolors. I still am, now. XD But thanks for the compliments.
Kuni
pfffft. liar! boy you've gotten really good. :cheesy:

Y'know I'd post the macabre ones I made, but they're a touch more personal.
Omni Existence
Wow! You've got some wonderful works there!

The RPG character was very well drawn. Nice pose.

One nitpick though (and I do apologize), she's a little too Elektra-ish.

Anywhoo, great stuff you have there. Please do post more.
EcchiMonkey
Wow! That's it... wow!! Heh, good job, the best I can do is short comic strips and I'm not very good at drawing things anyway. :smash:

ah yeah, I noticed that too. Too late to correct it, I suppose, but thank you for pointing it out. :) She's currently going through several revisions.
IceBlue
Now this was a surprise! You are quite the artist aren't you? Sure that was just a sketch? looks very good as it is!

 Yes, those are what I consider sketches. And thank you for the compliment. :) I feel like I have a long way to go still, however. :)

My err...latest one is of my ex-boyfriend (the French one). It's not really good since I only drew him from memory... :buck:

Kamisama
Wowie...Even though you draw him based on memory, it's pretty accurate!
Akira Raincel
Wow. You are quite good with a pencil. :ok: And very photographic memory also as you drew him from just memories of how he looked. :ok: Very neat.

It was quite easy to remember him, but at the same time very difficult. Letting go was never really easy, to begin with. Even if we are talking again, things just...aren't the same...

Great stuff!

Wish I can teach my hand to sketch more like that.

http://www.deviantart.com/view/27630386/ --- Angelina Jolie smiling. Happy New Year!

Oh yes and a work in progress. My first WACOM tablet project --- http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/26733349/

Excellent work Mainime, your sketchs are very lifelike. How long have you been illustrating? I signed up for a deviant art profile but I find that alot of the people on it just love to whore their stuff to no end.

Thanks! I've actually been drawing ever since I was a kid, but I didn't think of making it a career until now. Some of my friends pointed me to deviant art so I could get more feedback for my art, but I have to agree that so many of the other artists there really just want to be there for the attention.

One of my ex-friends is there too and she posts her writings mostly to impress people, not to express. And I think in order to get a daily deviation feature, you have to kiss ass a lot, which I hate having to do, so I don't bother.
Kamisama
Great works! Especialy that Angelina...Whoa...
MegaManEXE
Yeah, shuv that. I'd put some of my art up there just to have like an online collection to show friends. I'm getting one of those old 1979 Olympus OM-10's with a 1.8 lense and a zoom lense and some accessories for my birthday. It's Olympus's best ever selling camera. I've always wanted to get into photography.

Ah you can tell you've been drawing for years, the detail on the sketch of that dude is great. I'm glad you didn't watermark it, as much as the protection is needed it kinda spoils it a little. I'll be coming back for more
Omni Existence
Very nice!

I like Angie as well!

Why don't you switch over to Fanart Central? I post stuff there and the folks there are very nice. They give very good critiques, and aren't very particular with what kind of art you do.

Try it.

**Edit in:

Stupid me forgot to put the URL: http://www.fanart-central.net/

Hey, that's cool! Photography is one of my weaknesses. I can't get anything right on a camera.

As for the watermark...I dunno, I want to put one up just in case. A lot of art theft happens on DA and I'm already getting overprotective of my stuff.
