Hey! To Ecch his own! I'm a typical American ***hole! Anywho, I said the second option, but then again, I might want the checks a couple times one, too. I'm always checkin', but I'm posted on all the interesting topics! So, whatever. I love the OB. That's for sure.

I'm a clone of Larghy and never log off. Seriously. I think some people here realize that, being a post demon. I mean look at my profile...that's all the proof you need to view.
I mean if I could make nearly five hundred posts in a month, imagine a year of posting...

Anyway, considering that I am busy nearly 24/7 everyday, I barely have time to sit, it is quite an achievement for someone like me, who's busy, to just post this much. And you have to admit, I am quite competetive for the role of being a post demon. I'll put up a good fight!

Yeah, like how many peeps you have developed friendships with, on the boards...
These boards I think, is a common ground for anime and video game fans alike, you get to know peeps who share the same interest and don't go "Duh!" when you start talking about Naruto, Evangelion, Final Fantasy and the like...

Maybe you're upgrading from the monkey lab. Apparently you have Pseudo Blair working for you; he matches up with your post-wrath or something of that nature. Still... how do we know there's just "one" Larghy? If the OB was the Matrix, you're the Source; always active, always there, never stops. Somebody send Larghy an OB trophy. :ok:

1. For someone who doesn't WANT to be one, you've been doing a lot of ghost-modding, along with Voldemort. Why don't you just formalize it and go get it? I think it'll help clean up the boards.
2. Heh, for someone who thinks who DOESN'T deserve to be, you're quite dedicated to reprimanding noobs about proper conduct, what with all the red text, the exclamation points, etc. I don't see that a lot, that's for sure. :buck:

Woooshooooooooo....Ohhh, Larghaz, Larghaz, Larghaz. For someone as outspokenly perverted as you are, you can be awfully humble. :buck: Who said you HAD to have an incredible amount of posts, or you had to be always online either? What I'm talking about is how responsible you get when handling noobs, or how you keep things in order around here by ghost-modding. Granted, not a lot of Mods or Admins can drop by, because of personal reasons, and check up on the boards to see how things are going, but it's almost as if you live here! :buck:
Seriously, though, it's good to have a constant presence of control around here. And no one spends more time here than you, I think.

I like that idea shirayuki, seeing how im in the middle of country for 200miles before it gets interesting, id like to see though how that would be done seeing how people show up to the Ob and post whenever they have time, and it would be hard to set-up one new topic for that event seeing how everyone would try to reply at once and get confusing, maybe an IM group meeting for the OBers for everyone to join that sounds more possible

I'm one of the people who check in for new posts a few times a day.
From the earlier posts, people are wondering what really qualifies someone as a moderator.
Yes, showing control, good judgement and restraint is the sign of a good moderator. Sometimes, as moderator, you have to allow people to talk things through, even if it bends the rules a little, even if you feel it bends the rules a lot. No moderator decision is ever made alone, and no moderator decision is made lightly.
Moderators do not police the boards. Moderators are merely guardians of it.
Okay, got the "officially unofficial" Miss Universe 200x answer out of the way.
Here's the real reason.
To be a moderator, the admins must want you as their lesbian love partner. If you're a guy, that's half the battle won. However you must reach deep inside you and touch your inner woman. In most cases, this would be impossible coz your inner woman would slap a restraining order on you.
However to be a moderator, you must first learn to be the lesbian love partner you know you're born to be. Only then, will you have learnt how to live.
May the sauce be with you.

Being a post demon proves nothing. Nothing at all. You can add 5,000 to my post count and that won't make me any better a human being.
You can remove 5,000 from my post count and the same thing stands.

Well really, I don't care of my post counts. I never did. It's just that me used to being kind of like a post demon...was more like me being a lot more active in interesting topics and wanting to be apart of this community. That's how I saw my post counts. Nothing more, nothing less.
When in those days (and still now) I'd post like crazy, even in a topic where I didn't feel like posting, I'd at this moment feel like I shouldn't rush and just choose interesting topics. I don't consider myself a crazy Otaku anymore. But yes, I'm mad about this board...I still come here everyday when it's non active....so I'm not sure what to classify myself in.
